History

Magenta originally grew up in Lotebirma Maryland. However, after her father lost his job as the CEO of a newspaper company, they were forced to downgrade their luxurious lifestyle and move to Lusta Oaklahoma to be close to their relatives. The drastic change in lifestyle caused Magenta to change as well. For the better. As she grew up in the new environment, she became more modest and gained appreciation for smaller things. Her mom and dad worked hard at their new jobs and she excelled in her school.

Through constant inspiration from celebrities and internet influencers, Magenta learned how to endure bullying and often protected others from it. Still, it was extremely difficult for her to make friends. Everyone always thought of her as 'different' and 'other.' Mostly because her sweet, feminine appearance contradicted her mature, dark, artistic, surreal interests. She loves all things gothic, hardcore, and dark. She would often create artwork to express her love for it. The majority of her classmates only thought of her paintings, animations, and poetry as creepy.

After she graduated, she befriended a transsexual performer and social worker on social media called CT Trans. CT invited Magenta to hang out with entire crowds of goths, metal heads, emos, and punks at the Burrow. A massive underground plaza that was a safe haven for those deemed abnormal by society. A place for 'others' to find love, friendship, and acceptance. Excited with the idea to meet the people of her most admired subculture, she donned her best outfit, colored her hair with pink streaks, and journeyed to the mysterious underground world.

The neon lights, trendy businesses, and cool venues were all a fantasy come true for Magenta. In no time at all she befriended a gay scaly couple who enthusiastically welcomed her with open arms. She then met Drew Cable. Their star performer friend.

Over time, Magenta slowly developed romantic feelings for Drew from having memorable, happy times together. Magenta had two relationships in the past, but these feelings felt more genuine than any other in her life. Sadly, she was not Drew's romantic type. Drew preferred to date older women with larger 'features' that were specific species. After being friends for three years, Drew started dating a 28 year old badger woman named Sylvie.

During his brother's disappearance, Drew spent a lot of time with both Magenta and Sylvie, but only showed romantic affection towards Sylvie. Though Magenta had her doubts about the badger woman, she chose to accept what made Drew happy. However, things began to change when Sylvie began bullying Magenta behind Drew's back. She always discouraged Magenta from telling him, saying he'd believe her word over hers because he was a 'sucker for older, sexier, sharp-toothed mammals,' and would never doubt her.

Knowing she could never face Drew without proof, Magenta suffered through the bullying out of fear of Drew's distrust. When Drew's brother, Andy, returned safe and sound, he began to grow suspicious of Sylvie as well. One night, he followed Magenta when Sylvie texted her, demanding she meet her at a silent alley to talk. Andy recorded video on his phone as Sylvie tormented her victim. Telling her Drew will never love her because she will never be attractive enough for him.

Andy quickly showed the vile video to his older brother. Needless to say, Drew was absolutely furious. Before confronting and breaking up with Sylvie, he gave Magenta a sincere, affectionate apology. To show a hint of love, he kissed her on the cheek, filling her with newfound joy and hope.

After a bitter breakup with Sylvie, Drew decided to try to get over his unhealthy attraction to older women and 'larger features.' As more time went on, he grew to appreciate and understand Magenta's feelings for him. Realizing her love for him was true, he started to develop feelings for her.

Finally, after being friends for five years, they became a couple. So far, they have been together for a year, and Drew admits he had never been in a happier, healthier relationship. Magenta feels the same.

Magenta works for the Under Dwellers as a music video designer, lyric writer, and creative specialist. Though she rarely goes on stage, her best friends love her and what she does for them.

Personality

Many who know Magenta, even not that well, describe her as a 'genuine gemini.' Most of the time she is sweet, kind, gentle, soft spoken, and loving. However, if you do something bad to her or someone she cares for, she unleashes her tough, courageous, loud, and wild side. In the face of danger, trouble, or injustice, she refuses to back down and stand by. Her bravery in the face of evil never fails to amaze her friends.

Magenta has a very high tolerance to disturbing content. In fact, it's even stronger then Drew's and all her friends. She credits this from her father, who worked as a police officer when he was her age. Stories of abuse and crime that would normally make Drew sick to his stomach would not effect Magenta. One example is supposed detailed descriptions of the legendary dark web video, 'Twisted Caleb.' Another is stories of obsession that end in tragedy.

Depending on the situation, Magenta could either be terribly emotionally fragile or impressively strong. It all depends on the people involved. Whenever Drew is sad or angry, she feels incredible pain. When she's facing troubles herself, she can usually tough it out.

Skills

Magenta has little experience in fighting. She does, however, know how to defend herself from attackers. Her unusually sharp and long claws are often used to gouge attackers' eyes. She always aims for the throat and eyes. The absolute most vulnerable spots. She would not be able to escape multiple assailants easily. Luckily, she is a fast runner and very sure-footed. More often than not she can outrun and outlast pursuers.

Though she is not much of a fighter, Magenta can hold her own in an emotional standoff. When she shows her confidence in the face of baddies, few can compete with her. Her courage to stand up for herself and her loved ones is strength in itself.

There is much more Magenta can do with her words than her claws. Some say her words can create miracles. She has convinced and encouraged people to do the impossible just by speaking to them truthfully, genuinely, and using the right words.

Extras

Magenta is an omnivore, and loves meat and vegetables equally. Like Drew, she loves fruit. Her top favorite meal is chicken and waffles.

Due to an illness when she was 12, she had to get a hysterectomy. (removal of the uterus)

She is immune to Drew's poisonous saliva thanks to slowly developing an immunity with gentle kisses.

Due to her father being a mountain lion hybreed, she is able to scream a cougar cry. An unusually strong parent attribute.

Magenta has two older brothers who live close to her and her parents. She talks of them from time to time, but Drew and his friends have yet to meet them. From what they've heard, they sound strong, scary, but nice.

She has a cousin who lives in Russia that is a master hacker. Sometimes she calls him up when tricky spy operations are needed.
