Elements:

Common: Fire, ice, lightning

Uncommon: Wind, Solar

Rare: Earth, Poison

Formal Name: The Dragon People

Population: 520 million

DragonmanFACE.jpg
DragonmanWINGS.jpg

Brief History:

Dragonman are one of the most populous and influential races. They have made many impacts throughout history such as ending slavery, empowering civilization, forming empires, and founding several countries. This led them to gaining the highest standing in the skyborne hierarchy. In the past, dragonman were thought as the superior race above all other skyborne, but over time such beliefs were shunned, and equality began to reign. Now, though dragonman are the most populous of the skyborne, they are overall far humbler and preach equality more than ever.

Skills:

Dragonman are elite fliers in power and speed, but struggle with hovering and passive flight. They are good at gliding, but not the best compared to other races. Their wings can change size for on-land convenience.

In terms of strength and speed, dragonman are well balanced.

Their main skill lies in their elemental power. Power and skill in elements are the best among the skyborne races.

Appearance:

Dragonman are covered in scales, have wings, tails, horns, and claws similar to dragons. Their scales can come in endless varieties of colors and patterns. Their patterns are always symmetrical. Horns, spines, and tail blades come in many varieties as well.

Subraces are identified be differently colored scales. Light dragonman are light, pastel colors. Dark dragonman are darker or pitch black. Hispanic and Latino dragonman are bright, radiant colors. Eastern dragonman are primarily silver, gold, bronze, and other metallic shades.

Dragonman can come in virtually any color and shade in existence.

Zephyrman

Zephyrman
ZephyrmanFront1.jpg
ZephyrmanSide1.jpg

Family: Skyborne

Elements:

Common: Wind, lightning, light

Uncommon: Fire, ice

Rare: Solar, Lunar

Formal Name: The People of Light

Population: 450 million

ZephyrmanFace.jpg
ZephyrmanWings.jpg

Brief History:

Zephryman are known as the people of light for their celestial presence and aura. They are most well known for being a very spiritual race that has strong beliefs in angelic power. However, there have been times where a desire for celestial power has corrupted their minds, resulting in historical villains. In the modern age, though, zephyrman are much more diverse in their beliefs. Some retain their strong spiritual backgrounds, while others are more casual and focus on overall goodness.

Skills:

Zephyrman fly similarly to predatory birds. While they lack in hovering, they are tremendous in power and speed. Their wings come in many varieties from eagles, to falcons, to owls. Each one specializing in a special type of flight. High speed, high power, and silent flight.

Zephyrman excel in speed more than strength.

Elemental power is strong for a zephyrman, but not as strong as dragonman. Their physical capabilities with their speed are well balanced with their elemental strengths. They are also proficient in magic skills.

 â€‹

Appearance:

Zephyrman bodies are covered in a really short coat of fur. Their fur often has humble, muted hues that come in shades of grey, white, black, tan, peach, red, and blue. They can have various patterns such as stripes, spots, gradients, and facial marks. Unlike dragonman, zephyrman markings are not as plentiful or extravagant.

They have ears similar to a furry mammal and can resemble the ears of a feline, canine, or fox. They can be long, thick, big, small, round, triangular, and even have furry tufts. Their tails can be lion-like, fox-like, wolf-like, or cat-like. The rarest tail variant is a stubby bobcat tail.

Zephyrman claws resemble mammal claws and are short and curved.

Their wings can change size for on-land convenience like dragonman.

Gargoyan

Gargoyan
GargoyanFront1.jpg
GargoyanSide1.jpg

Family: Skyborne

Elements:

Common: Earth, Lightning, Ice

Uncommon: Fire, Poison

Rare: Wind

Formal Name: The Guardian People

Population: 310 million

GargoyanWings1.jpg
GargoyanFace1.jpg

Brief History:

Sometimes referred to as ogres, trolls, and orcs as a form of derogatory, Gargoyans were often seen as ferocious barbarians throughout history. Their ancient warriors and battles fought in the past gave them a beastly reputation as savage fighters. Several famous vikings, gladiators, barbarians, and pirates were gargoyans. Unfortunately, their fearsome reputation led to them being discriminated against towards multiple races. Particularly Zephyrman, who have feuded with them multiple times throughout history. Luckily, over time, the notions of ferocity slowly faded away and gargoyans were seen as diverse people and not savage warriors.

Skills:

Gargoyans are the poorest fliers of the Skyborne family. They often need a great amount of energy to lift off and gain height in their flight. Despite this, they are phenomenal gliders and can travel long distances with enough energy and the right conditions.

By far a gargoyan's best strength is their physical strength. They can develop muscle with ease and grow quite tall and large. Though their speed is a bit lacking, their strength and toughness makes up for it.

Elemental power is strong for a gargoyan, but not as impressive as physical power. They are also not as proficient magic users as zephyrman, fairies, or dragonman.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Gargoyans have flesh that is strong and rough. It can impressively withstand strong blows and high temperatures. Skin comes in dull hues of several colors. Green, brown, grey, red, purple, tan, and black are all the possible skin colors.

The gargoyan's most prominent feature are their tusks. All gargoyans have two or four tusks protruding past their lips. They are either on the top gums, bottom, or both.

Gargoyan claws are short and extremely durable.

Their wings change size like dragonman and zephyrman wings for on-land convenience.

Fairy

Fairy

FairyFace222.jpg
FairyFront1.jpg
FairyFace1.jpg

Family: Skyborne

Elements:

Common: Fire, Ice, wind

Uncommon: lightning, light

Rare: Blood, Poison, Nature

Formal Name: The Enchanted People

Population: 440 million

Brief History:

Of all the races of Lorstar, few have been as underestimated and mistreated as the fairies.  Many races enslaved them out of jealousy for their beauty and superior magic powers. After the end of slavery, the fairies found the strength and motivation to train to defend themselves from any future oppression. Still, they chose to keep their beliefs of peace, joy, and health. Most of them, at least. Fairies who chose feelings of hatred became corrupted and known as dark fairies. Even in the modern era there are still dark fairies that despise other races for the atrocities done to their people in the past.

Skills:

Fairy wings are flowing with magic that makes flying nearly effortless. They are by far the greatest fliers in all of Lorstar. Capable of hovering in place indefinitely, stopping instantly, and effortlessly changing direction.

Fairys are not proficient in physical strength. Their bodies have trouble developing muscle and they have naturally high metabolisms, making weight gain a challenge. Still, they are extremely swift and can easily outmaneuver most opponents.

Their magical powers are the strongest of the skyborne family, and their elemental strength is equal to that of dragonman.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Fairy skin is soft and delicate compared to other skyborne races. Their colors are determined by their subrace. White fairies have light, peach colored and white skin, black fairies have dark brown skin, Hispanic and Latino fairies and brown, bronze skin, and Islanders have bright tan skin.

Their wings resemble insect wings and come in countless shapes, colors, and patterns. From butterflies, to moths, to dragonflies. They often reflect the person's element in appearance. Strangely, despite their magic, fairy wings are incapable of changing size like the other skyborne wings.

Marineman

Marineman
Marineman1.jpg
Marineman2.jpg

Family: Oceanic

Elements:

Common: Water, Ice, Poison

Uncommon: light

Rare: Blood

Formal Name: The Marine People

Population: 460 million

Marineman3.jpg

Brief History:

Many believe marineman were the first oceanic race to evolve. Undersea history has several prominent marineman in the pursuit of civilization, conquering, and ideals. However, they have also been the victim of slavery when captured and taken on dry land. These acts of cruelty towards their race briefly caused an era of hatred, but that quickly faded away and marineman became a race that thrived on freedom, equality, and peace. Many often consider the majority of marineman 'hippies,' 'surfers,' and 'pirates.'

Skills:

Marineman swim tremendous speed and maneuverability, but compared to the other races, they are the least skilled swimmers. Their dashes reach an average top speed of 25 miles an hour but have a lot of variety. Their aquatic acrobatics are superior thanks to their legs.

Physical strength is extremely diverse for marineman. While some find their greatest strength in muscle and brute force, others thrive in speed, agility, and skill. Their melee skills are stronger than the other races thanks to their legs and lack of a tail. Elemental power and skills are also powerful compared to other races. Skills in manipulation are particularly strong, but not as strong as merfolk due to their lack of magic talents.

The strength marineman come out on top in is their senses. Out of all the races of lorstar, their senses are the absolute strongest. Sense strengths differ depending on the individual. Marineman are capable of hearing conversations from half a mile away, track scents from half a mile, see in dim environments, and their sense of touch allows them to sense vibrations from ten feet away. About %20 of marineman are born with a special 6th sense. The ability to detect the minute electrical fields generated by all living creatures every time they move a muscle. The same 6th sense as sharks. Like sharks, marineman with this sense are capable of detecting half a billionth of a volt. This not only allows them to sense any life forms from miles away. With enough training, it allows them to sense the emotions of people around them by detecting pulses in the brain.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Marineman skin is either smooth and slimy like an eel's or slick and rough like a shark. Eel skin is much more common than shark skin. Their bodies come in virtually any colors and various patterns. Like dragonman, their sub-races are determined by color luminescence and saturation. Marineman can be light, dark, hispanic/latino, and islander. Eastern Marineman are only multiracial.

Their fins and webbing also come in many varieties such as color and shapes. Some have venomous fin tips and claws.

Their eyes are deeply colorful and have no whites. Their teeth are sharp and carnivorous.

Merfolk

Merfolk
Merfolk1.jpg
Merfolk4.jpg
Merfolk2.jpg
Merfolk3.jpg

Family: Oceanic

Elements:

Common: Water, Ice, lightning

Uncommon: poison

Rare: light

Formal Name: The People of the Ocean

Population: 500 million

Brief History:

Merfolk have been portrayed as docile, fragile, unremarkable oceanic beings throughout history. There are very few influential merfolk, and they were often a target for those on land to be slaves. Often being kept on display in aquariums. This history of mistreatment caused several merfolk in the modern age to develop bigoted beliefs against other races. Even in the Age of the Atmosphere there are hate groups composed of merfolk dedicated to revenge for the torment their race faced in the past. Luckily, the majority believe in the importance of compassion and equality.

Skills:

Merfolk are the best swimmers of all the Oceanic races. Their speed, strength, agility, and acrobatic skills outdo all others. This is likely due to their specially shaped inner ears that prevent them from becoming dizzy from drastic, spinning maneuvers much like whales.

Their physical strength also has a lot of variety. Some prefer power, and others prefer speed and agility. Their main strength lies in their magic and elemental talents.

Merfolk have many natural magical qualities. Healing magic is easy for them to master and hypmosis is a common practice for females. It is a common belief that mermaids enchant their singing voice to attract potential romantic partners.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Unlike all other Oceanic races, merfolk bodies have ordinary flesh not similar to an aquatic creature. Their lower body is often a variety of fish tails. Rarely, their lower bodies resemble an octopus, eel, sea snake, or shark.

Ear fins come in as much variety as all other Oceanic races. They do not have fins on their arms like marineman.

They have no claws and their eyes often have whites. Rarely do their entire eyes have color.

Hydro

Hydro
ZodaHydro1.jpg
LeviHydro1.jpg

Family: Oceanic

Elements:

Common: Water, poison, light

Uncommon: lightning, ice

Rare: Blood

Formal Name: The Deep Sea People

Population: 200 million

Hydro111.jpg
LeviHydro2.jpg

Brief History:

Deep in the darkest depths of the ocean, the hydros live peacefully. Rarely does this race ascend to higher sea levels and rarer do they rise to the surface. Due to their much more oceanic appearances, even oceanic beings find them mysterious individuals. Many prominent hydros throughout history were peacekeeping magic users, soothsayers, secret allies, and spies. The majority of hydros are firm believers in peace over battle and prefer to avoid violence. They are powerful magic users and are rumored to foresee the future.

Nearly all hydros live either in their cities and villages deep in the darkest depths of the sea. Only about 20% of them live among other races. This does not mean they do not communicate with other races all the time with machnology and magic. Other races often turn to hydros for spiritual guidance, help in negotiating peace, foreseeing the future, or make trades and purchases. Though they are quite an isolated race, they are not at all antisocial or bitter towards others.

Skills:

Hydro's are the second-best swimmers of the oceanic races. Their tails make swimming power and speed their strongest skills, but their acrobatic abilities are not as good as merfolk.

When it comes to physical strength, hydros are better suited for speed, agility, and precision. Despite living in deep water their whole lives, their power is slightly difficult to strengthen. Still, their movements are more than enough to outmaneuver most attackers.

Magic skills are very powerful among hydros. While merfolk excel in healing, hydros are best at mental and psychic magic. Mind reading, psychokinesis, memory, empathy, and info search. Above all else, hydros treasure the power of the mind and pride themselves in mastering psychological and psychic magic. When it comes to their elements, they are equally as powerful. Their magic powers allow them to manipulate their element in unimaginable ways.

Their senses are almost as powerful as marineman. Their strongest sense is their eyesight. Their eyes are so powerful they can see in total darkness.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Hydro bodies are covered in fish scales from head to tail. They come in virtually all colors, shades, and hues. They have no subraces.

Their most prominent physical feature is their lack of hair. Instead, their heads are adorned with fin crests. Their tail can have multiple fins. Some hydros have arm fins and some do not.

They have sharp, pointy teeth and webbing between their fingers.

Finavien

Finavien

Finavien1.jpg
Finavien3.jpg
Finavien2.jpg

Family: Oceanic

Elements:

Common: Water, ice, poison

Uncommon: light

Rare: lightning

Formal Name: The People of the Tides

Population: 60 million

Brief History:

Finaviens are by far the rarest of all the Lorstar races. This is because they are actually a hybrid of two different races. A marineman and merfolk couple have a 30% chance of having a finavien child. In the past, interracial relationships were very rare, so finavien numbers were merely in the tens of thousands in the earliest times. Abuse they suffered from other races for being 'half' led the finavien race to gather and strive to further populate their race. Needless to say, this led to questionable and sometimes even criminal actions towards others and even their own kind. Only as time passed and races got along much better did their race grow in population. The only surefire way for a finavien child to be born is through a female. However, finaviens have only a 30% chance of being born female. Out of the entire race, only 20% of finaviens are female. It does not take much imagination to know what chaos can result in such facts. Luckily, in the Age of the Atmosphere, most Finaviens do not see their low numbers as a danger, but as something to be proud of. Sadly, some out there who defy the age still believe in the old cruel need to outdo the other races. Their history and rarity often led them to living closer to shore, which gave them the formal name, "The People of the Tides."

Skills:

The combination of their tails and legs make them powerful and fast swimmers but have a lack of agility and acrobatic skills. For the most part, Finaviens focus mostly on power when swimming.

Physical abilities are pretty equal for most Finaviens. Strength, speed, and skill are well balanced. They often use their tail to strike foes hard.

Elemental powers are strong, but equal in strength with physical power. One thing Finaviens tend to do that other Oceanic beings do not is wield weapons. More Finaviens use weapons on average than all other oceanic races.

Like all other oceanics, their senses are extremely powerful. Their most prominent sense is their touch. It is so powerful they can feel sound vibrations in the water.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Finaviens have ear fins and claws like marineman, but do not have webbing on their hands. They have three toes on each foot and the toes have webbing. Their most prominent features are their legs and aquatic tail. A true combination of marineman and merfolk. Their skin is slick and rough much like a shark. Their bodies come in numerous shades, colors, and patterns. The hue and radiance of their colors depends on their subrace. Their tails have a lot of variety, too. They can be fish-like with multiple webbed fins and whale like with mostly shark-like skin. Their eyes are colorful but have less brighter color than marineman.

Naturman

Naturman

Naturman2.jpg

Family: Landmaster

Elements:

Common: Earth, Poison, Ice

Uncommon: lightning, Nature

Rare: Lunar, Fire

Formal Name: The People of the Hills

Population: 390 million

Naturman3.jpg

Brief History:

The Naturman have been known throughout history as worshipers of nature and guardians on the land. Their strength, protective nature, love of all life, and connection with the world makes them a highly spiritual race. Like all the Landmaster races, they have been victims of discrimination. Especially from Oceanic races. Many saw them as weak for their attachment to land and disbelief in war and needless fights. Some saw them as a burden because of their need to preserve nature. Naturman often prefer to live in small towns and villages over cities. They prefer to build homes that manipulate the natural land as little as possible. Though they do not stop other races from doing as they please to build their homes, cities, and empires, some saw them as a threat to their quest for power. Naturman that lived close to the ocean were attacked by Oceanic races out of fear they would ruin their homes. Skyborne races went to war with them in attempts to steal their land. Fortunately, as years passed and seeking power became controversial, Naturman were free to live without fear and discrimination. Still, most Naturman these days decide to live in landlocked areas and avoid Skyborne races. Most places where Naturman live are inhabited mostly by Landmasters. However, in the Age of the Atmosphere, there has been a rise of interracial bonds among them. A sign of hope for acceptance and love despite differences.

Skills:

Naturman are tremendous at traversing all landscapes. Grassy fields, mountainous cliffs, barren wastelands, and dense forests are all second nature environments for them. They are naturally accustomed to all environments rich with plants and rock.

Strength and speed are often equal among Naturman, but some prefer strength over speed or vice versa. Fighting styles are diverse for each individual.

Naturman elemental power is among some of the strongest of all races. Naturman have been known to be so powerful they could cause small natural disasters with their elements. Their strength and manipulation often overpower other races. Magic is also a great strength for them. Especially in crafting.

Nearly all Naturman wield and bond with weapons. Their love of crafting and building reflects on their attachment to weaponry. It is considered unusual for a Naturman to not have a signature tool or weapon they carry with them almost everywhere they go.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Naturman skin is quite tough and strong. Capable of enduring high friction and rough materials. Their ears can either be long and pointy or round and slightly sagging. Common skin colors are pale tan, grey, yellow, pure white, pale pink, and bluish grey. Rare colors are pale red, orange, and purple. Many Naturman take pride in rare skin colors and would go to great lengths to preserve it in their bloodline. By far their most prominent feature are their horns. Naturman horns resemble horns of mammals like bulls, rams, buffalo, goats, and gazelle. Rare horns are deer antlers and single horns like a unicorn.

Floraliens

Floralien

Floralien1.jpg
Floralien2.jpg

Family: Landmaster

Elements:

Common: Nature, Earth

Uncommon: Solar, Poison

Rare: Fire

Formal Name: The Floral People

Population: 280 million

Floralien3.jpg
Floralien4.jpg

Brief History:

Floraliens are often considered the most beautiful, charming, and romantic race of Lorstar. Though their power is known to be more in their attractive nature than their fighting skills, throughout history they have been adored and cherished by most of the world. Their spiritual, emotional, and physical attachment to all plant life gives them powers over nature unlike anything else in the world. They have been known to slowly transform barren wastelands into sprawling grassy fields filled with flowers. Sadly, like many other races, Floraliens have also been victims of discrimination. They were seen as weaklings and lustful manipulators. Surprisingly, the greatest threat to the Floralien race was their own kind. Groups of power hungry Floraliens during a dark time in history slaughtered their people, leaving only those they deemed strong and worthy of representing their race. However, with help from other races, the evil was defeated. Since then, Floraliens developing interracial relationships has become quite common. This resulted in the rise of the Fire Flowers. Floraliens born with the fire element. These Floraliens are often unaccepted by others of their race and prefer to live with those different from them. Still, in the Age of the Atmosphere, acceptance of this rarity has risen considerably.

Skills:

Floraliens have a special attachment to the land and air. Despite having normal weight for their sizes, they can walk and prance in low-gravity style. Floating between leaps like ballet dancers on a small moon. This gives them a good advantage for traveling across grassy fields and rugged mountains. However, this also leaves the sensitive to strong winds. There are some occasions when wind is so powerful it can lift Floraliens into the air.

Due to their plant-like body compositions, Floraliens are naturally fragile yet agile beings. What they lack in power they make up for in grace, speed, and style. Their dance-like, flexible, acrobatic movements make battle a true spectacle.

Floraliens excel best in elemental and magical strength. No matter what their element, they all possess tremendous magical power over plants. They can grow and manipulate plants to such a degree that they can grow homes for themselves out of trees, fruits, plant pods, and so much more. Their fantastical capabilities over nature is one of the reasons they are so adored.

Like real plants, Floraliens absorb sunlight for energy and can absorb water through their skin to hydrate. This source of life makes eating almost unnecessary for them. Food is still needed to keep them truly healthy, but they can potentially survive for over 6 months without any food if they have proper sunlight and water. In colder temperatures with weak sunlight, often in the Winter seasons, Floraliens enter a state of hibernation. Their bodies curl up and harden like wood and they sleep until the conditions improve. Every year, in seasonal lands, all floraliens who experience the cold of winter enter hibernation. Since they are vulnerable in this state, several people of other races offer to protect them.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Floralien skin is smooth, soft, and plant-like. It comes in several pale shades of green and yellowish green. Their bodies are naturally slender and curved in attractive shapes. By far their most prominent feature is their signature flowers sprouting from the sides of their heads. These floral growths are known as floral tops. Floral tops come in tremendous variety. Nearly all of the biggest, most beautiful flowers in the world can be floral tops. These flowers are more than just decorative, though. They represent a Floralien's health. Large, flourishing floral tops indicate good health, while wilting, dim ones are a warning of poor health.

Volcanion

Volcanion

Family: Landmaster

Elements:

Common: Fire

Uncommon: Solar, Poison, Earth

Rare: Lunar

Formal Name: The People of the Mountains

Population: 260 million

Volcanion3.jpg

Brief History:

Of all the races of Lorstar, none are more dedicated and prouder of their culture and traditions than the Volcanions. Admired for their tremendous power over mountains and volcanoes, they are famed for being warriors of the tropics, canyons, and lands of rock and magma. At birth, Volcanions are branded with special tattoos that signify the strength, pride, and love of their people. These tattoos are etched on the body with special enchanted coal pens, painlessly marking the Volcanion with symbols of their family, tribe, and homeland. Many people enjoy the ways of their race, identifying their entertainment, rituals, and beliefs as the heart of their culture. From bongo playing, fire eating, island dancing tropics to mariachi singing, beast fighting, spice cooking Spanish speakers. It is easy for the other races to identify and enjoy the joy Volcanion culture brings to the world. Sadly, there are always those who look down on them for being different. Often times out of fear of their powerful auras and ways. Throughout history, some of the worst bigots abuse Volcanions due to stories of them cannibalizing warriors they killed in battle. Although, unbelievably, this is a true act the Volcanions did in the past, they are not ashamed of their history and wish other races would not find excuses to hate them. They do not tolerate those who insult their culture, though. Volcanions are proud of their ways and are willing to put those who discriminate against them in their place.

Skills:

Traversing lands is easiest for Volcanions in environments they feel spiritually close to. These are often mountainous, rocky landscapes, sandy, tropical places, or high cliffs of stone. Grassy fields and forests are harder for them to accustom to due to the plant scents, rustling sounds, and unusual softness of the terrain. Still, they conquer the land like any other Landmaster. They just have special preferences.

With a naturally strong muscle growth and skin tough and strong like leather, physical strength is a Volcanion's strongest trait. They can overpower opponents with brute force, but they do not value speed as much. Their claws are sharp and strong like lava rock and can heat up like red hot coal.

Their elemental power is strong, but not as strong as their physical strength. No matter the element, Volcanions always add a flare of heat and magma to their element. Earth elementals have energy attacks infused with red hot lava. Poison elements are burning hot like steam. The Lunar element is warm instead of cold.

Known as masters of magma, large groups of Volcanions can bring forth the lava within the planet and create volcanoes to mark new homelands. All Volcanions have a very strong resistance to fire and heat. They can even survive being submerged in lava for about two minutes. This powerful immunity makes their special tattoos possible.

 â€‹

 â€‹

Appearance:

Volcanion skin is tough and strong like leather. Capable of enduring harsh conditions and actions. Their skin colors are primarily tan, brown, and bronze, but biracial Volcanions have been known to have more diverse skin colors like peach and dark brown. Their eyes are bright and can glow when their emotions run high. They have slit pupils resembling cats. Their claws are dark and shiny like obsidian. Their teeth are sharp and carnivorous, but they eat all foods. Like all other races, their ears are pointy at the ends. Volcanions are not born with their markings naturally. They are tattooed on at birth and as they get older, more are added.

Synapsian

synapsian
Synapsian1.jpg
Synapsian2.jpg

Family: Landmaster

Elements:

Common: Earth, Fire, Lightning

Uncommon: Poison, Ice

Rare: Blood

Formal Name: The Raptor People

Population: 180 million

Synapsian3.jpg

Brief History:

Through numerous ancient archeological discoveries, it is widely theorized that Synapsians were the first race to evolve in ancient Lorstar history. Evidence collected for generations suggest they were masters of the Age of Beginning. (The Stone Age of Lorstar). The first in history to use tools, wear clothing, build structures, and hunt with weapons and elements. Modern day Synapsians are known to live rugged lives as hunters, warriors, farmers, beast tamers, and crafters of old-styled clothes, weapons, and jewelry. Throughout the course of history, other races proved to be a menace to Synapsians. Due to their reputation of being 'primitive,' they were often abducted from their homes and sold into slavery. This enraged the Synapsians and they formed armies and traveled across oceans to rescue their people from captivity. This determination to protect themselves eventually succeeded. The other races let them be, and nearly all the world's Synapsians took refuge in the center of the continent of Angelica. Visitors to their land were good natured and welcomed with open arms, but due to generations of isolation, this led to vulnerabilities to diseases. Realizing staying on Angelica for too long weakened their race, the Synapsians chose to spread throughout the world to establish new homelands. To strengthen their race, they invited other races into interacial relationships to produce a new generation of Synapsians with stronger immunities to illnesses and more diverse powers. After a century of bonding with the world's races, Synapsians were strong once again. Still, their numbers remain small to this day. Now, they are widely spread through all continents. They are best known for inhabiting unusual places. Their villages are located in places as unusual as caves, dried out pits that were once lakes, dense rainforests, muddy swamps, the bases of mountains, abandoned mines, and inside and deep within canyons. Their attachment to all environments and love of ancient times make them an admirable, and formidable race.

Skills:

Synapsians are not only masters of traveling all types of land. They are tremendous climbers, swimmers, burrowers, and jumpers. With their extremely powerful legs and reptilian feet, they can run faster than any other race. Their sure-footed sprints allow them to run full speed over narrow beams, fields of sharp stones, and through dense forests. Their reflexes are strong enough to turn instantly when faced with obstacles.

Naturally strong muscle growth gives Synapsians impressive physical strength. Additionally, their speed and agility are just as powerful. Many compare their fighting style to the apocalyptic creatures of ancient times: the dinosaurs.

Elemental power is not a Synapsian's strongest trait. Though they are skilled with their elements, their true strength lies in their physical strength. They often stick with basic, powerful attacks in battle. They do use their elements for other purposes like building homes out of natural environments. Surprisingly, they are well versed in magic and use it primarily for building, crafting, and taming beasts.

Synapsians are infamous for their fierceness and warrior auras. Many know the famous high pitch war cry all Synapsians shout. While their ancient blood, physical power, and mastery of all environments make them strong, their signature trait is their intimidating nature. Their hisses, growls, tolerance to violence, and fearlessness help them stand apart from other races. Even in the Age of the Atmosphere they love sparring and hunting for sport. They would never, however, do anything to endanger the balance of nature and hurt innocent people. Most of them, anyway.

By far, the Synapsian's most prominent physical traits are their reptilian arms, legs, and tail. While their head and torso are covered in flesh, their arms, legs, tail, and sometimes their backs are coated in scales. Their feet are large and digitigrade. (standing on toes) Because of this, they often stand up with their legs slightly bent. Their claws are the strongest of all the races. Often times they need special metal files to trim them. Their tails are often plain with no spines or blades, but biracial Synapsians sometimes do. Their skin has the same variety of colors are fairies. Peach, brown, black, tan, and bronze. There are a few Eastern Synapsians but they are biracial. Their scales come in virtually all colors but are never too brightly colored. Their eyes also come in many colors and have slit, reptile-like pupils. Like all other races of Lorstar, their ears are pointy. Never small and round like humans.
