Story:

Raveesha has always been quite a hothead. This did not make her home life any easier. She is one of 8 siblings. Like half her siblings she was adopted as an egg. Being close to the middle of the age range, she was hit with annoyances from both her older and younger siblings. Every time a new brother or sister came into the family, Raveesha was the first to complain and get ticked off.

One day, at the age of 10, her parents announced their 8th child had arrived. A lightning dragonman egg. Raveesha was the most irritated by this, not wanting another sibling to share the house with. 

​

When her youngest brother hatched, the baby dragonman greeted her by spitting in her face. Raveesha responded by nearly swatting him. She was stopped by her eldest sister and reprimanded by her parents. This led to a massive, loud, house shaking argument that ended with Raveesha storming out of the house.

​

Not wanting to face her parents or siblings, Raveesha decided to run away. Being only 10 years old, she did not stand a chance in Ruleroar. She tried to steal food, but always got caught before she got the chance. she kept this up for several days.

​

Enraged after nearly being caught by a group of soldiers, she flew through the city in tears. Blinded by her tears, she slammed into another dragonman flying around. He was about her age and his name was Skydan. Skydan apologized for slamming into her and took her to the hospital to get their injuries healed.

 

Upon arriving, Raveesha told Skydan she knew him and felt he was lucky to have no parents or siblings. Skydan was shocked by this and asked why she thought that way. Raveesha then confided in him about her frustrations and annoyances of her big, crowded family. Skydan then told his story of how lonely he was living without his parents and having to live with king Vondere and endure constant stories of his parents and unbearable expectations. Raveesha was surprised by how sad Skydan was during his childhood. Skydan then told Raveesha her parents and siblings must be worried sick about her. This made her feel a little warmer towards them. Skydan reassured her that even though her family was annoying, at least they all cared about and loved her. He then told her about his friend Laylee, whose mother always mistreated her for being imperfect.

Realizing it was wrong to run away, Raveesha decided to return home once her wounds were fully healed. A few hours later, she left the hospital and thanked Skydan, asking if they could hang out sometime. Skydan agreed, and they went their separate ways. 

​

Upon returning home, Raveesha was greeted with much love by her family. They all expressed great relief and joy that she was ok, and she came back home. 

​

From that day on, Raveesha swore to remember that even though her family annoyed her, they all loved her and she loved them.

​

Days later, she began hanging out with Skydan and his friends and eventually became a part of their group, the Skyhoods. They've all been close like family ever since.

Powers and Abilities:

Raveesha's strong emotions have made her elemental fire powers stronger than average, but not as well controlled. Her fire is black and dark pink in color, classified as dark fire. Her fire is highly asphyxiating and burns very hot, but not as hot as most fires. It is proficient at melting metal, though, making it a valuable tool for her blacksmithing. Though her attacks are strong, though, they can be reckless. She knows multiple variants of attacks like fire balls and skilled manipulation.

Due to her slightly short stature, Raveesha is often underestimated for her physical strength. However, she is more than capable of winning a physical brawl with opponents slightly larger and heavier than her. Years of fitness and combat training make her a force to be reckoned with. Despite this, she still has limitations and would not stand a chance against someone significantly larger and heavier than her. 

​

Raveesha is a great flier. Above average in skill. Many believe it is because of her rare, fully membraned wings. Her speed and power in flight is highly skilled, but her reflexes can still be shaky. Especially when she's distracted. Still, she can make impressive maneuvers. Including full loops. 

​

Personality

Raveesha is described by most as a sassy hothead. She gets ticked off easily and does not tolerate any annoyances. Still, she cares deeply for her friends and family and does show care from time to time. She rarely ever laughs or smiles but does sometimes. Friendly arguments and false teasing are common when interacting with her. One thing she does often is give her loved ones humorous nicknames and pet names. She'd often call Laylee names based on her pink colors, tail flukes, clothes, or strong intelligence. For Skydan she'd come up with names based on her humble personality, blue colored body, purple hair, and clothing. Her friends are not bothered by this at all.
