Story:

Naryla grew up in the country of Antemy. The marshy, tropical lands of pasta, pizza, canals, ancient pillars, and the Melee Hex. An world famous hexagonal arena where people fought battles for the sake of entertainment. Her older brother, Lightus, was extremely protective and caring of her. Her mother, on the other hand, was disturbingly defiant towards the Age of the Atmosphere. She was a firm believer that pride, power, perfection, and purity was the bringer of longevity, wealth, beauty, and assured survival. Needless to say, her treatment of her children was painfully harsh.

While Lightus proved to be phenomenal in the talents his mother forced on him, Naryla always disappointed her. More than disappointed. Her failure to please her mother often caused her to erupt in violent anger, often resulting in her being physically abused. Lightus, out of fear of his mother's wrath, could not bring himself to stand up for his younger sister. He did, however, heal her wounds to prevent her from being scarred. With his help and support, she endured the pain of her mother's cruel ways.

In their early teenage years, Lightus had begun sneaking away from home to hang out with a large group of peace keepers who lived in a series of huts under and inside massive tree. The peace keepers befriending Lightus, and inspired him with tales and facts about the Age of the Atmosphere. How desires for power, perfection, pride, and all the other Ps of power were evil and completely false. The true key to health and longevity was happiness, compassion, and a pure heart. Wealth did not bring joy and good health and talent did not always bring success.
Lightus eventually invited Naryla to spend time with the peace keepers. They both were mesmerized by their ways and started to gain the courage to stand up to their mother.
One day, their mother grew suspicious of them disappearing and decided to follow them. When she saw them interacting with the peace keepers, she confronted them with seething rage. To her shock and utter humiliation, the peace keepers easily defeated her in a fight. However, she used her light element to shackle Naryla, blaming her for 'corrupting' her perfect son with the foolishness of the lowly peace keepers. She flew off, and Lightus gave chase.

Naryla was locked in a basement chamber and her mother pulled out a large, thick, chain covered whip. She bound her with magic restraints to he ceiling and began whipping her. Suddenly, Lightus burst through the locked door and attempted to shield his sister. He was unable to block the whip, and was hit directly in the eye.

Shocked by what happened, Naryla's mother blamed her for Lightus getting injured, and tried to continue attacking her. Unable to endure any longer, Lightus and Naryla fled their mother, planning to never return. They chose to stay with the peace keepers and were made a part of their 'tribe.'

However, two years later, their mother returned, determined to destroy the peace keepers and their precious tree homes. In the battle, the leader of the peace keepers was killed. Distraught, the group fled as their homes were burnt to the ground. Luckily, law enforcement got involved and arrested Naryla's mother and her allies. As he children flew away again, she swore revenge on them, screaming that they will never escape her.
Out of fear of their mother never resting until she got her revenge, Naryla and Lightus chose to leave Antemy and move to the country across the sea to the East: Vorika. The peace keepers wished them luck and urged them to never give up hope on the Age of the Atmosphere.

After living as homeless rogues for two years, finding whatever work they could and saving up for a home, they finally found a life in a tiny, unnamed village on the Awemellow Islands. In this village, they made friends with several other rogues and formed a small peace keepers group. Lightus was their leader and continued preaching the truths and teachings of the Age of the Atmosphere.

One day, Naryla was attacked and nearly abducted by five people who claimed to work for her mother. They intended to kidnap her and take her back to Antemy. However, a lightning dragonman named Zarkross the Lightning Rogue stepped in and saved her. Over more time of getting to know each other, they grew very close. Naryla loved him, and she knew although he rarely showed it, Zarkross loved her, too.
