History
Randolph claims from the very moment he came into the world, he knew he was born into the wrong family. He is the youngest of three children to a mom and dad who lived in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Lotebirma. All his life he was deeply annoyed by his family's lazy, careless, drunkenly happy lifestyle. His parents were often fired from their jobs and often made money with crudely planned scams. Even when victims retaliated they did not care. They were content with their unhealthy, poor lives and often laughed and smiled through their misfortune.
Randolph's older brother and sister did the same, but he did not. He wanted to be better than his family. Having access to the internet on their old, outdated computer, he saw the real world and all its mind blowing technology, music, entertainment, and crazy stories. Realizing education was key to success, Randolph took school very seriously. He got straight A's throughout his elementary and middle school years. His parents did not care. They were not impressed nor proud. In fact, they teased him for taking life so seriously.

Throughout the years, through learning things on the internet, Randolph developed a talent for crafting tech items like phones, game consoles, video players, cameras, and even tiny, simply computers. Still, he wasn't satisfied. Diving deeper into the darker parts of the internet, he learned various hacking techniques and how to craft ordinary items into computer hacking devices. In his middle school years he developed a reputation in his neighborhood for being a 'mischievous genius.' He often sold one of a kind tech items made from parts he found in trash heaps and junkyards. This gave him an income even greater than his parents' when he was only 13 years old.
During his middle school years, he also began to develop a deep admiration for the heavy metal, rock and roll culture. He became a big fan of the emo rock band, Dark Knit Brothers. At the tender age of 12 he was wearing spiked collars, fingerless gloves, and skull t-shirts.

This newfound love of rock and roll and his growing financial success with his tech crafts made his lazy family grow bitter and jealous towards him. His older brother and sister would tease him in a less comical way and his parents would no longer assist him in his commutes to school. Randolph took pleasure in his family's jealousy towards him. He never liked them. They were lazy and stupid.

By the time he entered high school, he had already skipped two grades and was earning enough to afford to go to college himself. However, something new arrived in his life that caused his judgement to drift and blur. Bigots began to tell him it did not matter how smart or clever he was. Nobody would ever hire or trust a rat that was smart. Smart rats are inherently tricksters that prefer the criminal life and always cause misery in the community. Of course, Randolph knew these claims were unscientific and wrong.

However, when he confronted his parents about the claims, for the first time he saw their faces fall into serious expressions. In eerie, uncharacteristically scary tones, his parents warned him that in this world, smart rats always end up at the bottom of the social ladder. They were known throughout the world as untrustworthy troublemakers and could never be trusted if they were smart.

Randolph became furious with these claims. He felt he deserved to be rich and successful because he worked hard and was incredibly talented and clever. Sadly, his overconfidence led him to make rash decisions with catastrophic results. He dropped out of school and got his GED. Shortly after, he started a small tech business and rented an apartment. However, to his horror, the bigoted claims others blasted him with began to come true. His business quickly failed due to people assuming he was a scammer. His landlord kicked him out because he was suspicious of criminal behavior. Before Randolph knew it, he ended up on the street.

Utterly humiliated, but not deterred, Randolph used his smarts to survive. He continued selling his tech craft and stole necessities with his sneaky skills. Soon, he grew bold and began outsmarting and scamming the local gangs that practically ruled Lotebirma. This caught the attention of the suit and sunglasses wearing guards of Paradise Harbor.
They wasted no time delivering an invitation, and Randolph wasted no time accepting it, already knowing of its secret program that helped young homeless people get their lives back on track. He began to make money as a tech repairman and continued studying in hopes of being accepted into the University of Lotebirma.
Along the way, he made friends with three other young men his age and they formed an anti-criminal gang that fought against the criminals terrorizing their town. His knowledge of hacking and versatile fighting skills make him a true trickster the gangsters dread facing.

Any who witness him stroke his whiskers know he is plotting a scheme of epic awesomeness.
Personality
To nearly everyone who does not know him well, Randolph is portrayed as a mischievous trickster who loves trouble and takes pleasure in causing it. A toothy smirk, raised eyebrow, and chuckle is his signature expression. Although there is no doubt Randolph does fit some of the negative stereotypes about rat hybreeds on the surface, those who know him best know he is so much more than that.
It is true he does have a mischievous streak, but it is never malicious or harmful to innocent people. He would never intentionally harm or torment a truly good person. However, he does admittedly enjoy the misfortune of those who deserve it. Especially people who discriminate against or humiliate him. His grudges are known to be bitter with desires for payback.

Randolph treats all people equally no matter their species, sex, or orientation. He is not afraid to fight women at full strength when necessary. He is also not afraid to get revenge on women that embarrass or anger him. This is what fuels his deep grudge against a local model named Connie Agilita.

Randolph is very proud and confident. His ego is quite big but not to the point where it makes him a bad person. He does not look for attention or recognition from others. Just self esteem.

Despite being on the snarky, mischievous, and fun-loving side, Randolph takes the work that comes with life seriously. He never misses a day or hour to work or study. He is determined to go to college and earn a well-paying career. Not just to prove to others they are wrong about rat hybreeds, but to make everything he's been through in life worth it.

Randolph has absolutely no desire for romance. Not because he's asexual. To Randolph, romance is for suckers. Nobody knows if he will ever feel romantic love for anyone, but he is in fact capable of loving anyone no matter their sex, gender, or orientation.
Skills
Randolph may be skinny and not all that powerful, but he more than makes up for it in precision in his attacks. His knowledge of the hybreed body allows him to pinpoint where to hit to cause the most pain and incapacitate foes. He also uses versatility to use items from his environment as improvised weapons. Quick thinking allows him to use practically any ordinary item as a powerful tool for offense and defense.

His sense of smell is quite impressive. He can identify multiple people through scent and track them long distances. He also has a slight immunity to Wilson's skunk musk scent. Enough so he can endure it by wearing a thick face mask.

Randolph's greatest talent is his tech no-how. He can repair and craft an impressively wide variety of devices. Many of which his friends use to gain an advantage over their criminal enemies. Most of these items have hacking abilities. From listening in on their foes' calls, tracking them through their phones, listening to conversations with sound enhancers, disarming alarm systems, unlocking electronic safes, and infecting computer systems with viruses. Randolph's skills can accomplish it all if given the right tools. He is so skilled he can craft high tech devices with old, unwanted items and random parts found in trash dumpsters behind tech shops.

Besides his physical and mental skills, Randolph can also use psychological skills to mess with his foes. He knows just the words to gaslight the most coldhearted gangsters and convince them to alter their strategy or turn on their allies. Often times he does this while posing as someone else through the disguise of a phone call or text message false ID.
