Story:

Minolly has always been a shy, insecure person who was dependent on others. Her parents were overly protective and cared for her deeply, providing her with all she needed and desired in life. However, the worst happened when Minolly was 9 years old. Her parents were killed by terrorists while on a trip to another sea. Minolly witnessed the event but managed to survive when a family of hydros rescued her. 

 

Distraught over her parents' deaths, Minolly fell into a deep depression. She was taken in by her aunt, but her sadness would not fade. One day, however, she met Finross, then son of the leader of the Pearl clan. They spent more time together and became very close. 

 

Finross taught Minolly how to be strong and find happiness on her own and not rely on others. Though she seemed to excel in his encouragement, she was still timid for the most part. Beneath the surface of her newfound strength, she also feels dependent on Finross for emotional security. Finross is unaware of this, but Gilltom is. When Finross is away, Gilltom tries to warn Minolly not to be dependent on him, but she often times is unable to understand.

Eventually, she and Finross developed romantic feelings for each other and began sleeping with each other. Though Gilltom sometimes warns Minolly to empower her independence, she seems to listen to Finross the most. Gilltom plans to one day reveal her codependency to Finross.

Powers and Abilities:

When it comes to melee combat, Minolly is far more capable than she appears thanks to Finross training her. Though her physical power is not that impressive, she is precise in her strikes and knows various weak spots on the body. Her undersea martial arts allow her to outmaneuver most opponents. 

​

Minolly's water element has more of a defensive strength than offensive. It is thick and dense enough to do decent damage, but also has a soothing, exhausting effect that can wither an opponent's anger and weaken their energy. She can also use her water to heal injuries. 

​

Like all marineman, Minolly's senses are incredibly strong. Just like her father, her strongest sense is her hearing. She can hear a person's heartbeat from over 5o yards away, allowing her to find anyone who is hiding out of sight.

Personality

Minolly is sweet and kind to her loved ones and those around her. However, she is also timid and often worries in precarious situations. She can be clingy to people she deeply trusts and likes and feels she can't be happy without them. Though she shows progress in gaining healthier independence with Finross's help, she still has a long way to go. 

​

Though she is timid, she is not afraid to fight when needed. Though she does not enjoy fighting she is willing to do it for her loved ones. Especially for Finross. For Finross she would do almost anything, even if it means sacrificing some of her happiness. Finross is unaware she feels this way.

Extra Facts:

Minolly's red hair is considered her most beautiful feature. 

​

She loves undersea fruits and vegetables despite being a natural carnivore. 

​

She wears a headband with the willpower emblem out of her care and adoration for Finross.
