Story:

Life was always an emotional adventure for Wavoro. He was born with tremendously strong clairvoyant powers that allowed him to see the future in many different ways. His favorite hobby growing up for foreseeing the weather. He was diagnosed with autism at an early age, explaining his social awkwardness, unusual stims, and obsessiveness over certain details and interests. Despite his odd nature, Wavoro was quite popular among the Pearl Clan youth. Described as likable for his humorous personality and love for board games, he was well liked by many, but did not have any friends due to his shyness.

Luckily, his parents are very caring and understanding of him. They always encouraged him gently and helped him to learn to interact with others better. Eventually, Wavoro befriended Finross, the son of the clan leader and his friend Minolly during a school play. 

​

Finross was fascinated by Wavoro's clairvoyant powers and often enjoys humoring him by asking for the weather forecast. 

​

A few months after an outsider named Gilltom joined their group, Finross invited his friends to attend the Sea Star Pirates' battle tournament at the Great White shipwreck. 

​

When Wavoro fought in the competition, he was pitted against a Sea Star pirate named Trench the Ebon Warrior. The battle allowed him to show off the capabilities of his future visions. He mirrored Trench's moves and words perfectly and read his attacks with ease. To the pirates' surprise, Wavoro won the fight. 

​

The brawl was the beginning of a fond friendship between the two fun-loving marineman. Trench's patience with Wavoro's awkwardness and their shared love for board games and adventure made them a perfect duo. Trench eventually left the Sea Star Pirates to join the Deep Blue Band. 

​

Wavoro constantly assists his friends with his clairvoyant powers. Foreseeing countless possibilities and defeating opponents with his wits and cleverness.

Powers and Abilities:

​​

Wavoro's water is icy and cold. It is capable of cutting opponents more efficiently than regular elemental water. The frozen chill can also slow and temporarily immobilize opponents. Though he primarily knows basic attacks, he does devise clever, unique attacks with strong manipulation skills. 

​

His physical strength is a bit lacking, but he makes up for it in quick thinking, fast reflexes, and precision. Knowing the weak points of the body, he aims to take out his foes in a few, strong, well-targeted blows. 

​

By far Wavoro's strongest skill is his clairvoyance. Thanks to its unusually strong capabilities, he can foresee his opponents' movements in real time, allowing him to mirror them exactly. This is a psychological technique meant to distract and confuse foes. He also is easily able to dodge and block the majority of attacks very effectively. 

​

Like all marineman, his senses are incredibly strong. However, sometimes, when surrounded by multiple unpleasant noises or scents he can go into a 'sensory overload' and have a small breakdown. When this happens, he often goes silent and trembles. With help from his friends, he can break free of this anxiety.

Personality

Wavoro is quite a fun lover and loves to goof around and have a good time. His awkwardness is surprisingly well liked by those around him. Often having a strange choice of words and stumbling with his sentences, people often smile and chuckle a little when interacting with him. He does not mind this much.

 

Part of his autism includes a lot of forms of fidgeting. Wavoro finds pleasure in certain textures. Especially his hair. He often times strokes his own hair, rubs his hands together, taps his claws on hard surfaces.

He is highly curious and is not afraid to venture to find answers to the unknown. Though he can be shy at times, around his friends he is always ready for something new. He is obsessive over his interests and certain details.

Extra Facts:

Wavoro's dream is to be a weather man. 

​

Surprisingly, he is very popular with girls. However, he is not all that interested in romantic relationships and has yet to find what attracts him. He is aware that he is pansexual, though, so gender is not a factor.
