Story:

Cyton was born into the strong, weapon wielding Marlin clan. Although it may sound like an honor and a life full of thrills, Cyton was never fond of it. The warriors of the Marlin clan are incredibly strict and do not tolerate any form of incompetence or laziness. Though he was highly talented in his fighting skills, Cyton was really bored and annoyed with their strict, serious ways.

Sadly, he had no choice but to join their army. His parents were also Marlin clan warriors and threatened to kick him out of the clan if he did not. Though he obeyed them, Cyton secretly wished for a better life with true friends that he could relax and have fun with. When he was 16, his parents were killed while on an expedition to another sea. Despite not having much of a relationship with them, Cyton was sad to lose the only family he had.

Years later, warriors from the Pearl Clan came to the Marlin Clan's village to take part in their special challenges. During that time, he befriended a young marineman teen girl named Jewela. Cyton was charmed by her joyful personality and her desire to be strong like her brother, Finross. They talked a lot during their time together. 

​

During the challenges, Cyton was pitted against a Pearl Clan member in a battle. The warrior's name was Gilltom. The fight was fierce, and Cyton showed off his tremendous ice manipulation skills by summoning his signature ice sword. Despite his skill and power, Gilltom won the fight after Cyton was down for five seconds. 

​

After the challenges, Gilltom invited Cyton to join him and his friends at a local restaurant. Cyton was surprised, as nobody in the clan ever invited him to hang out. As he socialized with the Deep Blue Band, Cyton realized these were the kind of people he wanted in his life. 

​

He kept in touch with the Deep Blue Band for several months and was eventually invited to join them. He accepted their offer and bought a home in Navyva Village. Now, Cyton lives alongside good friends who love to enjoy life and not merely dedicate their existence to combat and their clan. 

​

Over time, Cyton developed romantic feelings for Jewela, but because of their 4-year age gap, he decided to hold off on beginning a romantic relationship with her.

Powers and Abilities:

​​

By far, Cyton's greatest strength is his tremendous elemental manipulation skills. His element is ice, and he can control it with a skill level considered one of the best among those his age. Summoning ice from nearly any part of his body, he can move it in nearly all possible directions and morph it into any imaginable shape. Most impressively, he can solidify his ice at will. Using all these skills together, he is capable of summoning weapons of ice like swords, knives, staffs, and hammers. His signature weapon is an ice sword. The other variants often take more time and effort to create.

His physical strength his well above average for those his height and weight. Though his speed is a bit lacking compared to others, he makes up for it in power, stamina, and toughness. When unable to summon his ice weapons, he often resorts to punches and kicks for combat. He has minor skills in wrestling and basic undersea martial arts. 

​

Besides physical and elemental strengths, Cyton's special advantage is his ability to control his emotions in battle. He rarely allows rage to overcome him, and he stays mature and focused in a fight. His enjoyment of combat is also a psychological strength. He is always willing to have a practice battle with friends or step in to defend innocent people from thugs.

Personality

Cyton is quite mixed in personality. At times he is calm, aloof, and casual, while others he is fierce, intimidating, and tough. He can smile and laugh among a rowdy crowd of partiers or hang out quietly at the side among an easygoing, relaxed group. Many often describe him as having an octopus personality. One that adjusts and morphs to the environment and people around him.

The current situation is also a deciding factor on how Cyton behaves. When someone does him or his loved ones wrong, he can grow angry, protective, and disdainful. When faced with goofy, mischievous, immature ​fun lovers, he can be annoyed and disdainful. Among someone he has romantic feelings for, his is calm, cool, and composed. When celebrating among a wild crowd, he is loud and fun-loving. ​

 

Extra Facts:

 

Cyton likes to drink alcohol. When he gets drunk, he gets overly friendly and often compliments his friends and total strangers who pass by.
