Story:

Baramelle always loved the idea of a peaceful world where people of all races, ethnicities, and differences got along and loved one another. However, even during the Age of the Atmosphere, it was clear her fellow merfolk of the Questaric Sea were harboring a hatred for marineman. Mostly because the Great Clans were comprised mostly of them, and they were the ones who began the war before the age. Even her own older brother, Searay, felt disdainful towards marineman. Even using slurs like 'legger'. Though she hid her feelings on the surface, Baramelle was displeased with her brother's defiance of the Age of the Atmosphere.

One day, to escape a group of mermen flirting with her, she fled to the far west of the Questaric. On the way, she said a small prayer, hoping and wishing to find the man of her dreams. A protective, strong, intimidating warrior with a kind heart free of bigoted thoughts. As this wish flooded her mind, she came to the surface, sat on a rock, and began to sing.

An hour later, she was surprised and overjoyed to notice a strong, muscular marineman approaching her. His name was Yaykose. The two talked to each other. Telling the tales of their lives. Baramelle felt sympathy for Yaykose's dark past as a forced, brainwashed Blood Hunter. He in turn felt for her troubles with her bigoted family and fellow merfolk, impressed that she did not mimic their hatred.

As time passed and they saw each other more often, they grew to fall in love. Baramelle was lustfully attracted to Yaykose's toughness, coolness, and protective nature. The two's romance became highly physical.

Sadly, it was impossible to keep their relationship secret from everyone. When Searay learned his sister was dating a marineman and being sensual with him, he was furious. However, after a fight broke out between him and Yaykose, Baramelle angrily stepped in, defending Yaykose and blaming her brother for starting the fight with his hatred. Since then, Searay swore he would tolerate their relationship even though he disliked it.

Though her relationship with Yaykose makes most merfolk of the Questaric see her as a traitor to her race, Baramelle has no regrets. She would not want to be friends with bigots anyway.
