Story:

​Having a troubled past is one thing, but when your past is a total blur, it can sometimes be worse. For as long as he can remember, Jazz had lived alone in a small farm since his childhood. He tends to his vegetable and fruit garden to eat and sell his produce. He has no memories of his parents but felt content in his solitude for a while. Still, there were many things he could not help but question. A big example was the x shaped scar on his chest. He had the scar for as long as he could remember but does not remember how he got it. He also has thick, dark markings around his eyes similar to the rings of pain but look far too large to be them. He does not know why he has these either.

As Jazz got older, he began to feel lonely living only for his garden and making a living as a farmer. At the age of 12, he traveled to the nearby Oldhills Town to sell his lettuces. It was there he met Chess and Spade. Two young naturman boys around his age. While they were browsing the produce, a group of bullies overturned Jazz's wagon and ruined his lettuces. Jazz was devastated by the act. Chess and Spade comforted him, telling him they'll buy more from him next time he comes over. Jazz then invited them to his farm, and they accepted the offer.

Upon arriving at his farm, Spade and Chess were shocked to learn Jazz lived alone. Jazz then told them his life story and that he had no friends and family. Shocked by this, Chess and Spade offered him their friendship. From then on, the three young men grew closer and closer every day. Being loyal friends and loyal customers, buying produce from Jazz every season.

Years went by, and at the age of 20, Jazz met another new person. In the midst of a cold, windy winter day, he found a floralien in the middle of the Trueblue woods. The young floralian woman was in deep hibernation. Realizing it was not safe for her to be there he carried her to the safety of his farm. 

​

He lay the frozen, slumbering girl in front of his fireplace and wrapped her in a blanket. As he prepared a meal for her, the floralien slowly emerged from her hibernation and got to her feet. The two then faced each other and fell into a trance of instant infatuation. 

​

After the shock of seeing each other's beauty ended, the floralien introduced herself a Lilliora. She was once an inhabitant of the Floret Isle but left due to its overcrowding. She was searching for a new place to call home. The more the two talked, the more they grew attached to each other. Jazz offered to let her stay in his house for the winter and help her build a new home for herself in the Spring. Lilliora happily accepted his generous offer.

When Spring came, Jazz helped Lilliora construct a floralien home for herself in a large tree stump in Trueblue Woods. This was only the beginning of their love story. As the years passed, they grew to deeply love each other. 

​

From a lonely phantom nobody knew to having wonderful friends and a true love. Even Jazz himself is surprised with how well things turned out for him.

Powers and Abilities:

​​

Underneath his rags, Jazz has a bit of muscle but is for the most part slender and quick. Despite his scythe's size, it is light, and he can easily wield it for garden work as well as battles. He is a fast runner and can make quick movements to dodge and attack. 

​

Jazz focuses his ice element with his scythe. He often summons streams of ice with every swing. It freezes everything it slashes and stabs. Jazz's ice is classified as blazing. It is a type of ice that is bright like flames, is incredibly cold, and solidifies easily. He trained his ice element to be very proficient at putting out fires. 

 

Unlike his closest friends Chess and Spade, Jazz does have a little experience with magic. He can cast growth spells to help his plants grow faster and stronger and produce more fruits and vegetables. He can also summon orbs of light to brighten small dark areas.

Personality

Due to his lonely childhood, Jazz is not the most energetic person but is still very kind and friendly for the most part. He deeply prefers peace over excitement and enjoys tending to his garden more than a dangerous adventure. Still, he enjoys the excitement his closest friends Chess and Spade bring to his life. He is also always willing to accompany his beloved Lilliora on any fun quest she wishes to go on. 

​

Jazz prefers to find reasoning over fighting. He never attacks unless attacked. Especially when battling with people. Even when someone is attacking him, he tries his best to find a way to stop the violence. Despite this, he always knows when to fight at full strength and never fails to protect himself and his loves ones.

Extra Facts:

​

Jazz hates caterpillars for how much plants they eat. He goes to great lengths to keep them out of his garden. 

 

He later discovered he was not the only one with a mysterious x shaped scar of unknown origin​. The mystery behind these scars to this day is still unknown.
