Story:

​Usini (pronounced, You-SEE-Nee) was born in the city of Edona. A city that prides itself in being a luxurious paradise free of hard labor and stress. However, the citizens of the city pay a heavy price for their easygoing lifestyle. The plant being that maintains the prosperous land and greenery requires sacrifices of flesh. It is called the Terrazar. Usually, large beasts are enough to satisfy the Terrazar, but on rare occasions it demands a person to be sacrificed.

Usini was never fond of the ways of her city. As a child she witnessed a dragon being sacrificed to the Terrazar. Ever since then, she questioned the ways of Edona. She loved nature and disliked how everyone denied that their sacrifices were harmful to the environment. Her parents' laziness and outlooks on life also annoyed her. They always took everything easy and said life would never be a hassle due to their status in the city. Usini never listened to them.

As she grew older, she began to speak about her displeasure of the city and their ways of life, believing hurting nature was not the way to be prosperous. When the city leaders heard of this, they decided to take action. When the Terrazar once again demanded a person be sacrificed to it, Usini was chosen. Usually, the sacrifice is chosen at random or by volunteers, but the city's leaders lied and said she had been chosen.

Sadly, due to feeling she had no purpose in life, Usini did not have the strength to fight back. All she could do is pray for the gods for a miracle. To her astonishment, a miracle did happen. 

​

Chess, a naturman warrior from a faraway town, witnessed the sacrificial ritual and ran to rescue her. With his help, she escaped, fled from Edona, and never looked back. 

​

From then on, she lived in Chess's town as a free, purposeful soul. Over time she made friends with his friends and developed romantic feelings for him.

Powers and Abilities:

​​

Usini is very fast and agile. Though her maneuvering is not the best, she can run and dodge at impressive speeds. Her battle axe makes a great offensive weapon. She can wield it with one and two hands. 

​

Her lightning is pure white and so bright it can temporarily blind and disorient foes. The shock can cause paralysis and a stinging sensation with long enough surges. Her bolt attacks can crack brick walls.

​

Besides elemental and physical powers, Usini is also well versed in magic. She can cast simple spells for everyday use such as lighting, simply psychokinesis, and cleansing of filth. Healing is also a great skill. She can heal deep cuts and severe bruises with ease. She also uses several crafting spells to make several different items with various materials.

Personality

Usini is extremely kind and gentle. She is a peace lover who enjoys spending time with loved ones and the joy of crafting and writing. However, she is never afraid to fight when needed and is very protective of her land and loved ones. 

 

There are times when her self esteem is a bit shaky, but overall she does her best to be a wonderful person and improve her strength and confidence.

Extra Facts:

Usini's single horn is extremely rare among naturman. Both her parents had single horns and were overly proud of it.
